Do I need to be home for my estimate?

No. As long as we can access your backyard and your pets are secured.

We do not give estimates over the phone. We need to see your property in order to give a fair and accurate estimate.

What’s included or considered a service?

You can view a full list of our services here.

What areas in Bluffton, SC do you offer landscaping services?

Our service areas in Bluffton include Sun City, Cypress Ridge, Heritage New Riverside, The Lakes, The Landing, Lawton Station, May River Preserve, and Rose Hill. Our main service areas are Sun City and subdivisions located on Buckwalter, 170, or New Riverside. Just ask if your area was not listed specifically.

Do you service Hilton Head?

Due to the fact that we are a small company, we do not do regular maintenance in Hilton Head but still maintain a Town of Hilton Head Business License to be able to do one-time services.

What if our grass doesn’t need to be mowed?

We charge per service, not per mow. We may not have to mow every time. For example, your lawn might not need to be mowed but we may hand pull all the weeds in the beds and trim 50% of your bushes…we do what is needed. Even doing this, we still average 20-30 visits. Our business model is detailed more here.

How often and when do you bill for services?

We bill on the 15th of the month for any completed services performed from the 16th of the previous month to that day.

What are your payment options?

Our payment options are cash, check, online through your banks’ bill pay service, Venmo (contact us for the information), debit or credit cards through Stripe (there is a 3% convenience fee), and PayPal ($5 per transaction).

When is my payment due?

Our invoices are due upon receipt but we do give you 25 days to submit payment. If your invoice is not paid within 25 days, a $20.00 late fee will be added to your next invoice.

How do I pay for work other than lawn care, such as landscaping work, pine straw, or mulch installation?

For plant installs, we require a 50% deposit and the additional 50% is due the day of work completion. For pine straw and mulch jobs, payment is due upon completion.

If it’s raining on my scheduled date, when should I expect service?

It depends on the amount of rain that fell and how well your yard dries up. We will not risk damaging your yard by running our 700 lb mower over it unless we have a written note from you that you understand the risk and will not hold us liable.

Can we request service on a specific day of the week or a specific time of the day?

We service specific locations on certain days of the week. We do not take the time of the day requests.

Do you have a warranty for your plants, shrubs, and trees?

No, we do not.

I have a pet. What information do I need to know?

We cannot service the backyard if your pets are not secured in the house due to the safety of all personnel and your pet. In addition, please note that all pet waste is to be cleaned up by homeowners before services are rendered. A cleaning fee of $20 will be added to your invoice for each occurrence. We also endorse a local poop scooping business called Officer on Doodie.

Will the same crew service my property on all service visits?

Yes. The same crew will service all residential properties all the time.

Should I water my lawn prior to a lawn mowing service visit?

For best results, please do not water your lawn the night before or the morning of scheduled service.

I currently own property in the area but do not live there. How do I know that you’re servicing my property?

We send an email to let you know when we have completed a service. If necessary, we can text a photo of your property to you to give you peace of mind.

Can I call and skip a service visit?

If you skip a service visit, we will push your service possibly as much as a week. In the winter months, this is no problem but in the spring and summer growing season, there will be a surcharge of $15 for the additional time needed to service your property because of added growth of shrubs and grass. We prefer that you let the crew leader decide.

Do you move kids toys, trampolines, etc. before you mow?

We understand that sometimes you forget to clear your yard before a service, however, we ask that you please be mindful to ensure the yard is clear before we mow. If it is a regular occurrence that we have to clear your yard, there will be an additional charge for each occurrence. We cannot be responsible for any damages to items left in the yard.
